Based in Northeast Tarrant County, which encompasses Colleyville, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, Keller, North Richland Hills, Southlake and Westlake. Shawn surrounds himself with family and friends that are successful business owners and entrepreneurs who inspire his passion for successful Client interactions in real estate.

Born in Fresno, California and raised in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, Shawn enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma prior to attending The University of Oklahoma where he met his wife Karlyn. After graduating with honors from OU, Shawn worked in retail store management, most recently as the General Sales Manager at Golf Galaxy in Arlington. Throughout his career, he drives results specifically through leadership and fostering Client relationships as they are vital for success. His ambition and passion to pursue real estate outweighed managing a specialty retail store.

Shawn and his family currently reside in Keller, Texas where he is heavily involved in the community. Shawn and the Team at Akers and Associates Realty Group are proud to be part of the Keller Williams family, which is one of the most successful real estate firms in the nation.
